On July 19, we invite all Pennsylvanians to celebrate the first ever Park & Recreation Professionals Day. Visit a local park and say thanks to the manager, landscaper, facilitator, lifeguard, coach, event organizer, or caretaker that help maintain the facilities you and your family enjoy.

Park & Recreation Professionals Day is being celebrated during National Park and Recreation Month in partnership with the Pennsylvania Recreation and Park Society (PRPS).

Join PRPS and Centre Region Parks & Recreation at the flagship event at Orchard Park Pavilion, State College, PA on July 19. Experience Centre Region’s new mobile program “Rec on the Go” as you participate in the first official recognition of Parks & Recreation Professionals Day. Register HERE.
