Co-hosted by the Pennsylvania Urban Parks & Recreation Alliance and the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, this gathering of parks & recreation professionals and champions will focus on important issues and solutions surrounding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
The day will include informal presentations, case studies, and discussions with local officials on how to assess where an organization is in its understanding of DEI, the tools and resources for implementing policies, and the evaluation of the progress of said policies thereafter. This will be followed by lunch and a tour of Frick Environmental Center.
