About

Beginning in late 2014, a working committee of the Pennsylvania Recreation & Park Society (PRPS) and the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation & Natural Resources (DCNR), came together to create a statewide initiative to raise awareness and use of local parks and recreation facilities.

Inspired by the belief that local parks and recreation improves the lives of all Pennsylvanians, we embraced the undeniable “goodness” of that experience. Read more about our work and the story behind the “Good For You, Good For All” campaign by clicking HERE.
